How We Help

teacup

Our services include an extensive intake of health history, diagnosis, acupuncture and herbal prescriptions. Initial treatments may last up to 1 and ½ hours and return visits up to one hour.

In addition to acupuncture and herbal prescriptions, treatments may include other traditional therapies such as Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, nutrition and mind/body techniques.

Preparing for your first treatment
Before coming for your treatment be sure to eat no later than one hour before your appointment. Being treated on an empty stomach might cause dizziness. Please wear clothing that can be easily rolled up to your elbows and knees and avoid brushing your tongue the night before and day of your treatment.

Because of Covid 19 we ask that you contact us before your visit if you are showing any cold or flu like symptoms.Temperature checks will take place when you come in each visit. Face masks are required. Extensive cleaning is done between each patient. We are happy to answer any questions about the precautions we are taking – give us a call.

Payment
For non-insured clients we accept cash, check or credit card payments at the time of treatment. Reduced rates apply for non-insured and under-served clients. For insured patients, we are currently in-network with Cigna, United Health, Sutter Health Optum, Aetna, Blue Shield Federal Employee plans and other Blue Shield large employer plans. We do bill for out-of-network benefits when available. We are in some Workers’ Comp networks and take MedPay for injuries due to car accidents. Contact us and we will verify your benefits.
